Anchorage is in Southcentral Alaska, Anchorage merged with the Greater Anchorage Area Borough, creating the Municipality of Anchorage. Anchorage population as per 2020 census is 291,247 compared to 2010 population of 291,826 with the increase number of -579 people and growth of -0.2 percent.
