Lawrence is a city in Kansas, State of United States, It is in the northeastern sector of the state, astride Interstate 70, between the Kansas and Wakarusa Rivers. Lawrence population in 2024 is estimated to be 96,214, covers city area of 34.97 sq mi (90.57 sq km), ranks sixth largest city in Kansas State, three-hundred-forty-seventh city in the United States. Lawrence city is home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University.
