The Milwaukee metropolitan area also known as Greater Milwaukee or Metro Milwaukee is a major metropolitan area located in Southeastern Wisconsin, consisting of the city of Milwaukee and the surrounding area of Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis metropolitan area with four counties of WOW counties, Waukesha, Washington and Ozaukee including Milwaukee, covering 1,460 square miles, Metro area more than 1.58 million people in 2018, making it the United States 39th largest metro area. and the Milwaukee-Racine-Waukesha combined statistical area. CSA includes the counties of Dodge, Milwaukee, Jefferson, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha, ranks thirty-third combined statical area.
