The the Greater New Orleans or New Orleans Metropolitan is Combined Stastical Area, is an urbanized region centered on the city of New Orleans. NewOrleans-Metairie-Hammond CSA includes eight parishes: Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist and St. Tammany, additionally Tangipahoa and Washington parishes were added in the NewOrleans-Metairie-Hammond CSA, Greater New Orleans estimated population in 2019 is over 1.5 million.
