There are Minnesota cities with violent crime rates that exceed the national average, To determine the most dangerous cities in Minnesota in 2024, we have reviewed the number of violent crimes reported in 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019 per 1,000 residents, with data from the Uniform Crime Reporting Program. Minneapolis being most populous city in Minnesota registered highest number of Violent cases other high crime rate cities include Bemidji, Brainerd, Waite Park, Virginia and Mankato.
