Kenya is a country in Eastern Africa, borders South Sudan to the northwest, Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the east, Uganda to the west, Tanzania to the south, and the Indian Ocean to the southeast. Kenya population in 2024 is estimated to be 54.2 million, covers country area of 580,367 sq km (224,081 sq mi), ranks twenty-sixth most populous country in the world, capital of Kenya is Nairobi and other popular cities are Mombasa, Nakuru, Ruiru, Eldoret, Kisumu, Kikuyu, Thika, Naivasha and Karuri. Kenya country code is KEN. Swahili, a Bantu language and English are widely spoken and official languages in Kenya.

Kenya population in 1969 is 10.9 million, by 1979 the population is increased by 4.4 million totaling to 15.3 million, by 1989 the population is increased to 21.4 million, and by 1999 the total increase of 17.8 million in 30 years from 1969 to 1999 resulting to 28.7 million. From 1999 to 2009, population increased to 37.7 million, and from 2009 to 2019 the population of Kenya increase by 9.9 million with a change of 26.25 percent, and total population in 2019 is 47,564,296, out of these 23,548,056 are male and 24,014,716 are female. Kenya population in 2023 is estimated to be 51.4 million, population in 2022 is estimated to be 50.1 million.
