Nebraska (abbreviation is 'NE') is the landlocked state located in midwestern of United States, borders Kansas to the south, Missouri to the southeast, South Dakota to the north, Colorado to the southwest and Wyoming to the west. Nebraska capital is Lincoln and the largest city is Omaha. Nebraska is popular for invention of 911 system, was first developed and used in Lincoln city. Nebraska's nickname is 'The Cornhusker State' and the name 'Nebraska' means flat water is based on Oto Indian word which is referring to the Platte River.

According to U.S. 2020 Census Results, NE population in 2020 is 1,961,504. Nebraska population in 2023 is expected to be 1.97 million, population in 2022 is expected to be 1.973 million, and in 2021 is expected to be 1.96 million.
