Nebraska (abbrevation is 'NE') is the landlocked state located in midwestern of United States, borders Kansas to the south, Missouri to the southeast, South Dakota to the north, Colorado to the southwest and Wyoming to the west. Nebraska capital is Lincoln and the largest city is Omaha. Nebraska is popular for invention of 911 system, was first developed and used in Lincoln city. Nebraska's nickname is 'The Cornhusker State' and the name 'Nebraska' means flat water is based on Oto Indian word which is referring to the Platte River.
