Centennial is in Arapahoe County, was formed on February 7, 2001, from portions of unincorporated Arapahoe County, currently part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. Centennial population as per 2020 census is 108,418 compared to 2010 population of 100,377 with the increase number of 8,041 people and growth of 8 percent.
