Federal Way is a city in Washington, State of United States, is a city in King County. Federal Way population in 2023 is estimated to be 98,727, covers city area of 23.70 sq mi (61.39 sq km), ranks tenth largest city in California State, three-hundred-nineteenth city in the United States. Federal Way population as per 2020 census is 101,030 compared to 2010 population of 89,306 with the increase number of 11,724 people and growth of 13.1 percent. Federal way was incorporated as a city on February 28, 1990, Attempts to incorporate the city were voted down in 1971, 1981 and 1985, finally in 1990 the voters eventually approved for incorporation.
