Gresham is in Multnomah County, It is considered a suburb within the Greater Portland Metropolitan area. it was officially incorporated as a city in 1905, though settlement began in mid 1800, named after Walter Quintin Gresham, the American Civil War general. Gresham population as per 2020 census is 114,247 compared to 2010 population of 105,594 with the increase number of 8,653 people and growth of 8.2 percent.
