Jersey is the City in the New Jersey State of the United States, located on a peninsula between the Hudson and Hackensack rivers, opposite Manhattan Island, New York City, with which it is connected by the Holland Tunnel. Jersey population in 2024 is estimated to be 305,638, covers city area of 21.13 sq mi (54.74 sq km), second populous city of New Jersey after Newark, ranks third highest density of any US city. Jersey City's emergence as a major transportation hub, sharing a communications complex with New York City.

Jersey is in the northeastern region of New Jersey and the city is divided into six wards which includes Bergen-Lafayette, Downtown Jersey City, The Heights, Journal Square, Greenville and West Side.
