Lubbock is a city in Texas State in United States, located at the center of the Llano Estacado portion of the South Plains, with Midland on the southern edge, and Amarillo to the north. Lubbock population in 2024 is estimated to be 267,830, covers city area of 135.85 sq mi (351.84 sq km), ranks eleventh populous city of Texas, eighty-third populous city of United States. Lubbock is in the northwestern part of the state, nicknamed as Hub City due to the city being the economic, health-care and educational hub of the region.
