Yakima is a city in Washington, State of United States, is in Yakima County and situated Yakima Valley, located 60 miles southeast of Mount Rainier in Washington. Yakima population in 2024 is estimated to be 97,511, covers city area of 28.27 sq mi (73.21 sq km), ranks eleventh largest city in Washington State, three-hundred-thirty-eighth city in the United States. Yakima is located in the more urbanized Upper Valley, and is the central city of the Yakima Metropolitan Statistical Area. Yakima population as per 2020 census is 96,968 compared to 2010 population of 91,067 with the increase number of 5,901 people and growth of 6.5 percent.
