Arunachal Pradesh Population

Arunachal Pradesh is the north-eastern state of India, borders Assam and Nagaland to the south, Myanmar to the east, China to the South, Bhutan to the west. Arunachal Pradesh population in 2020 is estimated to be 1.5 Million (15 lakhs), According to Unique Identification Aadhar India, updated 31, May 2020, by mid of year 2020 the projected population is 1,570,458. Aruanachal Pradesh is covered with forests by one-third of habitat area within the Himalayan biodiversity, The total area is 83,743 sq km., area wise it ranks 14th largest in India, popular for Biodiversity, beautiful and lush green forests. It has a vary of elevation from 100 meters to 5500 meters, which includes Mountains, Valleys and Plains.

Most of the districts are inhabited by various tribal groups, By 2018, Arunachal Governement has increase to 25 districts due to closer Administration purpose. Below is the Arunachal Pradesh district wise population as per Census 2011 and 2020 projection.

18. Kra Daadi, From Indo-China bordering northwestern parts of Subansari river valley
19. Shi-Yomi, bifurcating the West Siang district
20. Siang, by bifurcating West Siang and East Siang districts
21. Lower Siang, carved out of West Siang and East Siang districts
22. Lepa-Rada, From southern parts of West Siang district along Brahmaputra
23. Namsai, From western-most parts of Lohit district along eastern-most Assam
