Chico is a city in California, State of United States, Chico population in 2023 is estimated to be 103,302, covers city area of 34.62 sq mi (89.67 sq km), ranks seventy-fifth largest city in California State, three-hundred-fifteenth city in the United States. Chico is the most populous city in Butte County, The Sierra Nevada mountains lie to the east and south, To the west, The city is also traversed by two creeks and a flood channel, the Sacramento River lies 5 miles from the city, named Big Chico Creek. Chico population as per 2020 census is 101,475 compared to 2010 population of 86,187 with the increase number of 15,288 people and growth of 17.7 percent.
