Indio means Indian in Spanish, is a city in Riverside County, Located 23 miles east of Palm Springs, 75 miles east of Riverside, 127 miles east of Los Angeles, 148 miles northeast of San Diego, and 250 miles west of Phoenix. Indio population as per 2020 census is 89,137 compared to 2010 population of 76,036 with the increase number of 13,101 people and growth of 17.2 percent.
