Redwood is a city in California, State of United States, lies 27 miles south of San Francisco, and 24 miles northwest of San Jose. Redwood population in 2023 is estimated to be 82,497, covers city area of 34.74 sq mi (90.0 sq km), ranks one-hundredth largest city in California State, four-hundred-fifteenth city in the United States. Redwood City is a city on the San Francisco Peninsula in Northern California's Bay Area, stretches from the San Francisco Bay towards the Santa Cruz Mountains between Atherton to the southeast with Woodside to the southwest and San Carlos to the northwest. Redwood population as per 2020 census is 84,292 compared to 2010 population of 76,815 with the increase number of 7,477 people and growth of 9.7 percent.
