Roseville is the city in California State of United States, largest city in Placer County. Roseville population in 2021 is estimated to be 149,792, covers city area of 42.26 square miles (109.5 sq km), ranks thirty-ninth largest city in California State, one-hundred-eighty-seventh city in the United States. Several streams flow through Roseville, including Dry Creek, Linda Creek and Secret Ravine. In 1864 the Central Pacific Railroad tracks were constructed northeastward from Sacramento. According to the Roseville Historical Society, The point where the tracks met the California Central Railroad line was named Junction. That Junction eventually became known as Roseville. Roseville population as per 2020 census is 147,773 compared to 2010 population is 118,788, with increase number of 28,985 people growth of 24.4 percent.
